Traditionally, Iridium satellite phones requires line-of-sight to communicate. With FOXCOM’s unique Iridium and GPS repeater technology, transmission/reception is able to be completed while the Iridium transceiver is in a shielded environment/location.. Among the many applications of the technology are for secure satellite communications inside underground bunkers, ships, oil rigs, etc. Additionally, this solution enables airplane in hangars to test Iridium & GPS signals without moving planes outside, saving both time and money. This FOXCOM solution is available in coaxial and optical versions, for either short or long distances respectively.
