Ray Shedden and family periodically ship care packages to the troops stationed in FOB (Forward Operating Base) Sharana in the Paktica Province in the southeast part of Afghanistan. “We are especially interested in this base because we have a nephew operating Humvees, MRAPs as escorts with construction teams, patrols, etc over there”, says Shedden.
