3M DBY/DBR Direct Bury Splice Kits are real time savers when installing underground electrical systems. Every component for the splice is included in the kit. The insulator tube is pre-filled, eliminating the chance of the installer using too much or too little sealant.

3M™ DBR/Y-6 Series Direct Bury Splice Kit electrically connects 2 or more pre-stripped copper wires and moisture seals the connection for direct-burial applications. The flame-retardant kit seals the wiring that is rated up to 600V. It is suitable for water-intensive applications such as golf courses, irrigation controls and outdoor lighting.

  • Accommodates wire size of 18 to 10 AWG
  • Rated for 600V applications
  • Includes 3M™ performance plus wire connector R/Y+ and high-impact, UV-resistant polypropylene tube prefilled with moisture-resistant grease
  • Withstands a temperature range of -40 to 221 degrees F (-40 to 105 degrees C)
