asan H690/H690R is an environmentally hardened outdoor Optical Network Terminal (ONT) compliant with ITU-TG.984 standards (G-PON). Dasan Networks has developed H690/H690R for subscribers requiring a very costeffective triple-play ONT. Fully compliant with ITU-TG.984 GPON standards, the H690/H690R supports 1.25Gbps downstream and 2.5Gbps upstream. The H690/H690R allows subscribers to enjoy bandwidth-intensive multimedia services such as real-time video, audio and gaming, much easier and faster than ever before. The H690/H690R is comprised of one G-PON uplink port plus four Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T), two POTS (FXS) ports that enhance the ability to deliver demanding VoIP services, and an RF video interface (only on H690R). The H690/H690R uses Session Initiation Protocal (SIP) to terminate phone calls so that in-home wiring does not change and standard telephone sets may be used. H690/H690R utilizes technology for intelligent IP-based access allowing reliable network deployment models and management.
