Description

The V8240 GPON OLT is a carrier class, medium density, multi-service access and aggregation platform that bridges the gap between existing and next generation networks. It supports both legacy and emerging service interfaces over both copper and fiber, and is easily scalable to support even the most bandwidth intensive applications.

The V8240 offers 40 GPON ports serving up to 1,280 residential or business subscribers (1:32 ratio split), or up to 240 Active Ethernet ports. The V8240 is a 7 RU chassis with 14 slots for 10 service modules, dual uplink modules, and dual 296Gbps switch fabric modules to deliver a wide range of high-performance FTTx applications.
