Description

The V8500 GPON OLT is a carrier class, medium density, multi-service access and aggregation platform that bridges the gap between existing and next generation networks. It supports both legacy and emerging service interfaces over both copper and fiber, and is easily scalable to support even the most bandwidth intensive applications.

The V8500 offers 160 GPON ports serving up to 1,920 residential or business subscribers (1:32 ratio split), or up to 120 Active Ethernet ports. The V8500 is a chassis type of OLT with 14 slots for 10 service modules, dual uplink modules, and dual switch fabric modules to deliver a wide range of
high-performance FTTx applications.
