What is a OTDR?
Fear the Dead Zone? What’s an OTDR Launch Box? Find out…
Multicom’s 2100 Series Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) has been enhanced with the ability to monitor the 1625nm wavelength that allows for live network testing. As are all Multicom OTDRs, it is designed for tough outdoor jobs. Lightweight, easy operation, low-reflection 7″ LCD, and 12 hours of battery life make it perfect for testing fiber optic cable in the field.
Applications:
- FTTX test with PON networks
- CATV network testing
- Access network testing
- Live fiber troubleshooting
